ST. PAUL 16, D.A.M. GOOD WINGS 5 (6 INNINGS)

At Harrisville Community Park, St. Paul (1-0) opened the 2003 season in style, jumping out to a 9-0 lead en route to the victory Tuesday night.

Steve Feigert doubled, singled and scored three runs for St. Paul while Adam Johnson doubled, singled and knocked in a pair of runs. Jason Sciarro doubled and singled while scoring twice. Eric Prinkey also scored twice for St. Paul.

Rocky Reed fired five innings to pick up the win while Bob Young pitched a scoreless sixth in relief.

Steve Sansom cut St. Paul's lead to 9-5 in the fourth with a solo homer while Manno and Farley each doubled. Sansom took the loss, pitching four innings. Mike Johnson also pitched for D.A.M. Good Wings.
