NOTRE DAME 8, THUNDERPLEX 7

VIENNA -- Notre Dame (2-1) won its second straight one-run game, pulling out an 8-7 win over host Thunderplex Thursday night at the Thunderplex. A single to right in the top of the seventh by Pat Connors, Sr. scored Pat Connors, Jr. with the eventual game-winning run. Connors, Jr. doubled with two outs to start the rally.

Thunderplex (1-2) took a 4-2 lead into the fifth inning but Notre Dame rallied for five runs against losing hurler Ryan Briggs (0-1). Thunderplex forged a 7-7 tie in the sixth against winning pitcher Mark Connors (1-0).
