THUNDERPLEX 16, SUNSET LANES 2

HERMITAGE -- Thunderplex scored a season-high 16 runs Monday night in earning a 16-2 victory over Sunset Lanes at St. Paul's.

Thunderplex, the designated home team, broke the game open with a five-run fourth inning. Thunderplex (6-11) then added four runs in the fifth and a pair in the sixth. Jared Terlecky helped lead the Thunderplex attack with a 4-for-4 effort, including a double. Mike Mattes doubled and added two singles while Chuck Fizet and Ken Wallace both tripled.

Ryan Briggs doubled twice and scored two runs while David Harries and Randy McConnell each scored three times. Lindsey Mizicko earned the win for Thunderplex, striking out seven. Ken Howard and Sims both singled and scored for Sunset Lanes while Bob Young took the pitching defeat.
