MERCER BOWL 11, OUR GANG'S 8

VIENNA -- Mercer Bowl used a five-run fourth inning to break a 5-5 tie en route to an 11-8 win over host Our Gang's at the Thunderplex.

Jim Kopan paced Mercer Bowl with a double, single and four runs batted in. Ron Myers tripled, singled and scored three runs while Chad McCombs doubled and scored a pair of runs. Jim Baretta added a pair of singles for Mercer Bowl, which jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the second inning.

Harry Bowser earned the victory by allowing five earned runs over seven innings.

Greg Verch went 4-for-4 with two runs scored for Our Gang's while Jared Terlecky doubled twice and knocked in three runs. Mike Mattes doubled and singled. Lindsey Mizicko took the loss for Our Gang's.
