JIM'S AUTOMOTIVE & TOWING 10, OUR GANG'S 9

VIENNA -- Visiting Jim's Automotive and Towing pulled out a 10-9 victory over Our Gang's at the Thunderplex, evening the season series at 1-1. Jim's Automotive led 10-8 going into the bottom of the seventh. Our Gang's loaded the bases with no outs but winning pitcher Bob Young escaped the jam to preserve the win.

Corey Dancak belted a three-run homer for Jim's as part of his 2-for-2, 5-RBI effort. Sims also cracked a two-run homer while Young also drove in two runs. Brandon Sanchez tripled, doubled, singled and scored three runs while Devin Kulka doubled and singled.

Six Our Gang's players posted multi-hit efforts, led by Mike Mattes' 3-for-4 effort. Drew Carpenter and Jay Ference both doubled and singled. Randy McConnell went 2-for-2 while Boog Balzic and Ryan Briggs each went 2-for-3. Jared Terlecky doubled.

Our Gang's collected 19 hits but stranded 15 runners. Our Gang's left the bases loaded in the first and seventh innings. Lindsey Mizicko took the loss for Our Gang's, allowing nine earned runs in five innings. Briggs pitched two hitless innings of relief.
