NOTRE DAME 12, OUR GANG'S 5

VIENNA -- Notre Dame led wire-to-wire Tuesday night in earning a 12-5 victory over host Our Gang's at the Thunderplex. Notre Dame jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and did not relinquish the lead. Todd Davis paced Notre Dame's 13-hit attack with three hits, including a double and three runs batted in. Mark Connors tripled and drove in two runs while John Anderson went 2-for-4.

Jim Micco scattered eight hits to earn the pitching win for Notre Dame. He walked just one over seven innings.

Greg Verch tripled and singled for Our Gang's while Jared Terlecky tripled. Drew Carpenter drove in two runs. Lindsey Mizicko took the pitching loss, allowing seven earned runs in five innings. She struck out four. Ryan Briggs pitched two innings of relief, yielding four runs (two earned).
