OUR GANG'S 14, NOTRE DAME 6

HERMITAGE -- Our Gang's (4-6) completed a split doubleheader sweep Sunday evening with a darkness-shortened 5-inning, 14-6 victory over Notre Dame at St. Paul's. Our Gang's led 10-0 after the top of the second.

Drew Carpenter and Jared Terlecky both went 3-for-3 to help pace Our Gang's 15-hit attack. Terlecky scored three times and knocked in four runs while Mike Brown went 2-for-3 with four RBIs. David Harries and Jay Ference each singled and scored twice while Ken Wallace drove in two runs.

Ryan Briggs recorded the win, allowing two earned runs and seven hits in five innings. He struck out two.

Jim Micco went 2-for-2 for Notre Dame while John Anderson doubled. Mark Connors started for Notre Dame and absorbed the defeat. Micco pitched in relief.
