MERCER BOWL 14, JERGLER INVESTMENTS 13

SOUTH PYMATUNING -- Host Mercer Bowl rallied from a 13-9 deficit entering the bottom of the seventh to earn the win Thursday night at Patagonia Senior.

Chad McComb tied the game with a grand slam in the seventh and moments later, Craig Songer singled in the winning run.

McComb also roped a pair of doubles, singled, scored three runs and drove in seven runs. Songer also doubled. Dave Bodien and Mike Snyderwine each had two singles while Justin Songer ripped a two-run triple. Devin Corini doubled and singled while Andy Finzel doubled. Winning pitcher Jim Kopan scored three runs.

Pitcher Dave Tomko helped pace Jergler Investments with a homer and single while Tyler Watts homered and tripled. David Haynes doubled and singled while Jason Sciarro added a two-bagger.

Also for Jergler Investments, Zack Detal, Willie Pletcher and John Tomko had two hits each. The game featured six lead changes.
