OUR GANG'S 9, SHARON VFW 8

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP -- Our Gang's pulled out a 9-8 victory over Sharon VFW in an early-season battle for first place in the League at COG.

Geno Rossi paced Our Gang's with a three-run homer. He also singled. Clint Ansell, Mike Bochert, Mike Cidila and Steve Feigert all collected two hits each. Cidila captured the pitching win for Our Gang's.

For Sharon VFW, Billy Altman Jr., Jordan Rearick and Todd Rearick all homered. Todd Davis and Mike Marano both doubled and singled while Denny Yale singled twice. Harry Bowser pitched for VFW.
