CHICCARINO'S 21, LEGENDS/BELLERIA PIZZA 1
HERMITAGE -- Chiccarino's evened its overall record at 7-7 Sunday night by earning a road win over Legends/Belleria Pizza at Patagonia Senior. Chiccarino's collected a season-high 22 hits en route to the win.
Eight Chiccarino's players posted multi-hit games. Greg Wise belted a grand slam and also singled, finishing the game with five runs batted in. Ben Mackall tripled, singled and drove in five while Randy McConnell laced two doubles and scored three runs as part of a 3-for-3 outing.
Also for Chiccarino's, Kevin Faber went 3 for 3 and scored three runs, Adam Felton doubled and singled, Jared Terlecky and Seth Terlecky both went 2 for 2 and Darren Gensler also singled twice. Ryan Briggs allowed one unearned run in four innings. Dave Tomko pitched a scoreless fifth.
For Legends/Belleria Pizza, Tyler Watts doubled while Jonathan Tomko singled and scored. Phil Schneider pitched for Legends.
