THUNDERPLEX 12, NOTRE DAME 5

VIENNA -- Thunderplex won for the second time in three games Thursday night, earning a 12-5 win over visiting Notre Dame at the Thunderplex.

Thunderplex (4-10) jumped out to an 8-0 lead and withstood a Notre Dame comeback effort in the seventh. Jared Terlecky homered, singled twice and scored four times to help lead the Thunderplex attack while Randy McConnell went 3-for-4 with three runs scored.

Drew Carpenter singled and scored twice while Craig Schumacher doubled. Lindsey Mizicko earned the victory for Thunderplex.

Jimmy Connors and Pat Connors, Jr. each singled twice for Notre Dame (6-5) while Mariotti scored twice. Connors, Jr. took the pitching defeat for Notre Dame.
