CHICCARINO'S 19, ELEPHANT & CASTLE/INN 62 9

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP -- Larry McConnell tripled and singled while Greg Spon and John Wise both scored three runs Tuesday night as Chiccarino's earned a 19-9, 5-inning victory over Elephant & Castle/Inn 62 at COG.

Spon singled twice and drove in two runs while Cale McConnell roped a double. Ben Mackall added two singles. Ryan Briggs recorded the win in the pitcher's circle.

For Elephant & Castle/Inn 62, Jason Heasley doubled twice, singled and drove in two runs while Scott Schultz doubled and singled. Park Bateson singled twice. Chad Fette tossed a complete game but absorbed the defeat for Elephant & Castle/Inn 62.
