CHICCARINO'S 9, JIM'S AUTOMOTIVE 5

HERMITAGE -- Chiccarino's jumped out to an 8-0 lead and held on for a 9-5 win over Jim's Automotive at St. Paul's United Church of Christ.

Greg Spon paced Chiccarino's (3-1) by going 3-for-3 while Seth Terlecky doubled twice and also singled. Jared Terlecky cracked a homer while Larry McConnell singled twice. Ryan Briggs took a shutout into the sixth inning and recorded the pitching win.

For Jim's Automotive, Fred Sloan doubled and singled while Hank McDonald roped a pair of singles. Bob Young pitched and took the setback for Jim's Automotive.
