OUR GANG'S 15, MERCER BOWL 9

SOUTH PYMATUNING -- Visiting Our Gang's jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning Sunday night on its way to a 15-9 win over Mercer Bowl at Patagonia Senior in a rematch of the 2008 league championship series.

Clint Ansell tripled, doubled twice and also singled in a four-hit effort while Dean Vadala homered and singled. Dave Lander collected three hits, including a double, while George Kovac also doubled and stroked two singles. Geno Rossi and Eli Deflin both had two hits each. Mike Cidila picked up the pitching victory for Our Gang's.

Brian Bodien homered for Mercer Bowl while Chad McComb doubled twice as part of a three-hit night. Sean Murray and pitcher Jim Kopan both singled twice.
