OUR GANG'S 12, CHICCARINO'S 3
SHENANGO TOWNSHIP -- Our Gang's collected eight extra-base hits Thursday night on its way to a 12-3 victory over host Chiccarino's at COG.
George Kovac paced the 16-hit attack by belting a home run and a triple while Mike Cidila homered and singled. Randy Clark, Charles Gibbs and Ray Sadowski all roped triples for Our Gang's. Shawn Matsko and David Lander each doubled. Matsko finished 3 for 4 with three runs scored. Cidila also scored three times. Steve Feigert added a pair of singles for Our Gang's (6-1).
Chuck Joseph scattered seven hits over seven innings to earn the pitching win.
For Chiccarino's (3-4), Phil Ciprian tripled and singled while Larry McConnell went 2 for 2. Ryan Briggs tossed a complete game and took the pitching defeat.
