MERCER BOWL 7, LEGENDS/BELLERIA PIZZA 5

HERMITAGE -- Host Mercer Bowl rallied from an early 4-0 deficit Tuesday night to pull out a 7-5 victory over upset-minded Legends/Belleria Pizza at Patagonia Senior.

Winning pitcher Bryan Bailey tripled as part of a three-hit night for Mercer Bowl while Sean Murray roped a season-high three hits. Justin Songer doubled and singled and Jon Murray rapped a pair of hits. Bailey pitched the first five innings while Kopan recorded the save by throwing two scoreless innings. Kopan struck out four.

John Leetch belted a three-run home run in the third to give Legends/Belleria a 4-0 lead. Jordan Benes doubled and singled while Lucas Guerrera doubled. Phil Schneider fired a complete game for Legends.
