MERCER BOWL 10, SPLITZ 5

HERMITAGE -- Mercer Bowl tied the season series with Splitz by pulling out a 10-5 home win at Patagonia Senior.

Justin Songer paced the Mercer Bowl offense by launching a two-run homer. Eric "Skinner" Bombeck tripled and singled while Chad McCombs and Tim Murray each had triples as well. Bryan Bailey and Craig Songer each singled twice. Winning pitcher Jim Kopan permitted just seven hits.

Dustin Kulka rapped a three-run homer for Splitz. Devin Kulka doubled and singled while Alex Giroski doubled. Bob Young pitched a complete game for Splitz.
